Jacobsen underlines its commitment to electrification and its leading role in lithium technology by unveiling the new ELiTE lithium mower, the five-unit SLF1, at the 2023 GCSAA Conference and Trade Show in Orlando, Florida.
Jacobsen shared stand 2041 at the Orange County Convention Center with sister brand Cushman, and 100% of the equipment on display was ELiTE lithium models. ELiTE lithium vehicles and mowers are powered by Samsung SDI lithium technology, proven over more than sixty million hours of use on golf facilities worldwide.
The new SLF1 ELiTE lithium mower delivers Jake's signature cut quality with new benefits for operators and owners. The lithium drive ensures quiet mowing with minimal vibration, reducing operator fatigue and increasing productivity and uptime.
Jake's leading ELiTE lithium battery, with more than 500 amp-hours, delivers a runtime of over 5.5 hours per charge. This runtime is industry-leading for a fully electric mower and covers more of a golf course on a single charge than comparable offerings. It also offers convenient overnight charging compatible with existing standard electrical infrastructure, so it can simply be plugged in at the end of the day and be ready for the next.
