Smithco Spray Star 2000

The Spray Star 2000 is available with two different spray systems:

The proven, computer-controlled RAVEN SCS440 spray system works with a GPS-based speed sensor. When selecting this system, two different spray booms are available: a 5.5 m spray boom with 3 sections and 11 nozzles, and a 5 m spray boom with wind shields, 3 sections and also 11 nozzles.

For optimal working results, the Spray Star 2000 is alternatively available with the innovative Smithco Star Command I system. The brains behind the Star Command system is the Smithco Capstan SharpShooter. This comprises the electronic SharpShooter control, as well as 2 nozzles and solenoid valves at each nozzle position on the 5.5 m wide spray boom with 11 dual nozzles.

The system allows a working speed of 3 to 16 km/h, resulting in significant time savings while maintaining consistent quality. The SharpShooter control also controls the ON/OFF function at the fingertip, with immediate effect at the nozzles. Correct working pressure is maintained even with folded-in spray booms, so the sprayer is ready for immediate use on the working area. The SharpShooter system allows an application rate of 163-1,630 l/ha and a working speed between 3 – 16 km/h. The operator can adjust droplet size and spray mist fineness via pressure adjustment. The system automatically adapts this setting to the selected application rate. Changing spray heads is no longer necessary with the Star Command system.
