The so-called “RoyPow LiFePO4” (a lithium battery) was designed specifically as a replacement for lead-acid batteries in your E-Z-GO RXV (48V) or TXT (48V). The lithium battery has a lifespan of up to 10 years and up to 3,500 charge cycles.
It also offers high charging efficiency and significantly lower power consumption. Maintenance tasks such as topping up distilled water or cleaning battery terminals are a thing of the past. Constant winter recharging is also eliminated.
The battery has low self-discharge and holds its charge for up to 8 months. It also offers a weight saving of 110 kg (RXV) and 125 kg (TXT)
and a range of 60–80 kilometres.
